Hi Guys! So, I just wanted to quickly show you the current protective style I am wearing for my #100DayHHC.
*I started with two strand twists, which took me about one hour to finish*
*Then I used a Snappee to pull my hair back and pinned the rest of the twists up*
*Voila! Once the twists are in, it's pretty easy to play around with different styles. Just grab plenty of bobby pins and have fun getting creative!*

I'm about 4 days behind, but I'm starting today. I had to wait for my order of hydrolyzed wheat protein I ordered from Green Beauty on Amazon. My hair is highly porous and I have been hearing about it needs a hydrolyzed protein to fill in those gaps.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love your twists! I want to do twists in my hair. My question is how do you keep your twists from frizzing and from getting flat and crooked from laying down?
Lol it's ok! You'll still get quite a few days in on this challenge! Let me know how the protein works for your hair.
DeleteAnd, thank you soooo much!! My twists have come a long way. Honestly, that's one thing I'm still working on but I notice when I wear more of a snug bonnet, that fits closely to my hair, it helps to keep the "flyaways" tamed down. And, I'll usually style my hair for the next day (twists pulled back into a bun), the night before, then apply the bonnet. When I wake up my hair is done and it's not frizzy. I'm still playing around with lightweight vs. heavy leave-ins to see if one works better to reduce frizz. I'll let you know for sure once I get my answer! ;) Also, if my twists are crooked/bent, I simply apply a leave-in directly onto that area and it loosens my hair a bit and gets them straight again. Hope that helps!
