Get Ready for the #100DayHHC Checklist!

The Spring into Summer 100 Day Healthy Hair Challenge (#100DayHHC) starts on Monday, May 1...are you ready!? That's in 3 days, Ladies!

Here's a short breakdown of what I plan to do over the weekend -- I will be washing my hair Sunday night and twisting my hair up for the first week or so. Can I be honest? Twists are *not* my favorite protective style but they really keep my hands out of my hair and my hair is able to grow better because of this style. I'll definitely keep you all updated on my Instagram page and now, my Facebook page (whoo! whoo!)!

********************************************************************************************************

So I wanted to give you all a QUICK CHECKLIST of things you may need to do before the challenge begins on Monday!
*I won't go into detail about each note to keep this post short and sweet!*

1. Trim off any damaged ends.

2. Stock up on your favorite natural hair care line(s).

3. Get rid of any products that do not work for you. Donate them or give them to a family member or friend. Anything that is unopened and can still be returned, take them back to the store.

4. Wash your hair before the challenge begins. And, clean any hair tools and accessories.

5. Have your measurement tools ready -- your ruler/measurement tape and length check t-shirt that you will wear at the beginning and end of the challenge. If you do not have a ruler already, they cost near to nothing, so head over to your closest retail store and pick one up. In terms of a shirt, it can be any one, just make sure it's the same one on May 1 and August 8!

6. Do your healthy shopping this weekend -- lean proteins, whole grains, green veggies, fruits and water. And, get rid of all unhealthy snacks.

7. Create a workout plan that you believe you will stick with during this challenge.

8. Get excited because this #100DayHHC is going to not only be amazing and beneficial for your hair, but your overall health! Cheers to becoming healthier!

Alright, guys, so let's make this a great challenge! You will have some obstacles that come up but try not to focus on them too much; look at the bigger picture and trust that you will get the results you've been longing for!
