How I Keep My Hair Moisturized | The L.O.C. Method

Keeping your hair moisturized is an important factor in gaining healthy, soft, easier-to-manage hair. There are a few methods for retaining moisture but the best one that works for my hair is the LOC Method

Here are the products I use for the LOC Method (in this order):

·            L (liquid or leave-in): Plain water or Alikay Naturals' Lemongrass Leave-In Conditioner or Mielle Organics' White Peony Leave-In Conditioner

·            O (oil): Mielle Organics' Mint Almond Oil

I do the LOC Method daily just because that is what my hair needs. I know some do this every other day or only on wash days but because my hair is naturally dry and soaks up tons of moisture any way, I notice my hair remains soft and manageable when I do the LOC Method every day. Once you learn to understand your hair's needs you will be able to determine how often this is necessary for your hair.

Hopefully this bit of information helps someone as I know how important it is to keep my hair moisturized and healthy during the cooler seasons!

>>>When purchasing the Mielle Organics' products on their website, use code 4C to receive $10 off of orders $20 and up!!!<<<

  1. Before I would loc every 3 days but now with this coldish weather my hair is always dry. I'll try loc daily. I've been looking in Mielle organics products also. I'll give them a try

    1. Hey! Yes, I have to do the LOC Method daily, especially in the cooler months! And, make sure you are deep conditioning weekly, that may also help! :)
