Let's get right to it! :)
Here is my current hair care regimen:
Remember you have to do what is best for your hair. This regimen works for me but may not work for you.

In the Morning:
1. Lightly moisturize hair with a water-based leave in conditioner or moisturizer
2. Apply a hair butter or oil to hair
3. Follow up with a moisturizing styling cream
3. Follow up with a moisturizing styling cream
4. Style, if necessary
At Night:
1. Apply a very small amount of oil to scalp
2. Massage scalp for 2-5 minutes
3. Depending on style, re-twist and/or tuck hair away out of face
Wash Day:
1. Divide hair in to 8-10 sections
***I prepoo/do hot oil treatments monthly to help keep my hair soft and manageable***
2. Co-wash and detangle each section with a co-washing cleansing cream or African black soap and rinse scalp & hair (by sections). When detangling use fingers first and a wide tooth comb or detangling brush, if necessary.
***I shampoo once a month***

3. Re-twist each section after cleansing
***I do a "hard" protein treatment (a homemade egg-based protein) once a month; I apply it before my DC and will leave it on for 5-15 minutes before rinsing out.***
That's pretty much it! I try to keep my hair care regimen as simple as possible because
my hair responds best to minimal manipulation and few products!

4. Apply deep conditioner, done weekly or bi-weekly
5. Twist each section after applying deep conditioner
6. Put on a plastic bag and deep condition for at least one hour
7. Rinse out deep conditioner
8. After cleansing and deep conditioning, I finish up by doing large twists or braids on freshly washed hair using a leave-in conditioner, an oil and a styling cream (The LOC Method)
