When trying to grow your hair out, you want to wear protective styles which are low manipulation styles in which your ends are tucked away. This can also include styles with extensions but the trick is to make sure the stylist does not twist or braid your hair too tight, especially around your edges. Any style you wear, with or without hair, should be secure but comfortable. And, you can wear them for a few weeks at a time. Protective styles are great because they do not require a lot of manipulation and you give your hair a break from being styled and touched too much on a daily basis. Remember to keep your hair and scalp clean, and your hair detangled and moisturized, and your hair should flourish!
