Happy 2 Year Naturalversary to Me!!!!

Wow! I cannot believe it has been TWO YEARS since I did my last big chop in March of 2014! Like seriously, where has the time gone?! I remember the moment I unexpectedly grabbed my scissors (yes, plain ol' scissors) and chopped off my heat-damaged hair! It didn't matter that my hair was shorter; I was just so happy and relieved to finally get rid of the limp, lifeless hair I had been hanging on to for nearly 5 months. 

And here I am today -- two years completely relaxer and heat-damage free!!! As mentioned, I have had 3 big chops but this time around is the longest I have been natural. And, I definitely plan on staying natural for the rest of my life! Now, that I have seen what my natural hair is capable of, I have NO need to apply a relaxer, texturizer or any other harsh chemical to my hair and scalp. There's no need; my hair can do A LOT and can hold any style so I am more than pleased with my kinky, coily, thick, healthy, 4c hair! 

I just have to give you guys a HUGE thank you for supporting me, and my hair, over the last few years! I started my Instagram page a tad bit over 2 years ago and this blog about a year and a half ago (I'm still struggling with keeping it updated, lol...but I do hope to get more consistent with it some time this year!) and I have experienced so much love and encouragement from you all! Thank you so much for your kind, honest words; they are very much appreciated! :)
