Yes! It is true! I will finally be joining the YouTube family...again. Back in 2008/2009, I actually had a channel and talked about my natural hair. I kept my channel up and running for about one year and then once I accidentally texlaxed my hair, I felt like I could no longer "contribute" to the natural hair community. So, I deleted my channel and focused on being a new Wife and Mom, working, life and etc. AND NOW...I am ready to come back and share my knowledge, tips and tricks that I have learned over the years!
I have to be honest, I am excited but I am also nervous because the YouTube world is sooooo different than it was compared to 7-8 years ago! And, I mean very different! I remember the days when filming in your bathroom was fine lol! And I have thought about whether I want to invest in hundreds of dollars upfront for the perfect lighting, editing software, etc. But then I realized, that even now, my favorite channels and videos to watch are ones in which the creator is as real, transparent and laid-back as possible: little to no makeup, chill clothes, honest opinions and the content is valuable and genuine...and not so scripted! That's what I remember and that's why I was so addicted to YouTube. And I want to bring a bit of that back!
Mainly, I will be discussing the obvious -- my healthy natural hair journey! Please understand that I am more than "just hair lol," though I can probably talk about it for hours and hours! So, I will be sharing other interests in my life...I don't want to spill the beans but just know, I have more to share than "The4cProject!"
I'm sure you all can sense my excitement because I have been wanting to do this for yeeears but now I believe is the perfect time for me to jump back into the YouTube community! I hope you all will continue to support me on this next adventure! And trust me, this is only the beginning of new and exciting things to come! ;)
**And, I will most definitely let you all know when the first video is up as soon as it becomes available!**
